The data my Frontier X3 provides is inaccurate or poor — how do I fix it?

Fourth Frontier

Poor data quality is most often caused by the strap not making good contact with your skin.

Walk through this checklist before contacting support:

1. Make sure the Frontier X3 device is snapped securely onto the strap. Shake the strap — if you hear or feel anything loose, remove the device and snap it again.

2. Having dry skin (typically in cold weather) will reduce the conductivity of the skin. Wet the shiny sensors on the skin-facing side of the strap under a tap before wearing it to improve the conductivity.

3. Wear the strap around your chest as tight as is comfortable — a loose strap is the #1 cause of bad signal.

4. Start the recording from the app or by double-pressing the blue button on the device.

📝 If data quality is still poor after following these steps, contact [email protected] with details about the workout and weʼll help you debug.
