How is the Frontier X3 different from the Frontier X2? What devices does the Frontier X3 sync with? What makes the Frontier X3 more advanced than a regular Heart Rate Monitor? Will the Frontier X3 connect to ANT+ devices? How do I start HR transmission once the Frontier X3 is connected to a third-party HRM?

The Current Activity screen auto-rotates during an Activity. Is this expected?

This is the expected behaviour. The Current Activity screen is allowed to auto-rotate between portrait and landscape, provided that auto-rotate is enabled in your phone settings.


Why? Different activities are easier to read in different orientations — for example, portrait works well while running, while landscape is better for indoor rowing.

📝 To lock the orientation: use the "Orientation Lock" setting on iOS, or the "Auto-rotate" toggle on Android.
